Flights to Oslo Buy

If you're going to Oslo aka the Tiger City for tiger sightings only, you might be disappointed. There are no tigers in the capital of Norway, apart from one cast in bronze in front of the central train station. Luckily there is plenty else to see in the capital of Norway. So much so that Monocle has ranked this city among 25 cities in the world to call home.

Monocle’s quality of life survey goes beyond the basic economic and social factors of a city. It looks at aspects such as shopping hours, access to green space and having nice local bars around, not just "hard data". We're not surprised by Oslo ranking well in Monocle's list, and though it's not the cheapest place to visit, it's worth every penny (or øre).

It takes just 20 minutes to get to central Oslo by train, with train departing every 10 minutes at peak times. There are also several bus connections. Fixed taxi fare for getting to central Oslo is NOK395.
