Flights to Brussels Buy

If you google "Brussels fun facts" the first thing that comes up is "Belgium has the highest income tax of any OECD country". Which doesn't quite do justice to the capital of Belgium. True, there are lots of glass buildings filled with bureaucrats, but if you look closer, Brussels has many charms.

It's perfect for beer or chocolate hopping, slowly cruising from one bar or chocolate shop to another. The old centre of Brussels feels like it's just made of that, especially with Christmas lights on in winter. And if you get hungry then Brussels has 138 restaurants per square mile to choose from, pleasantly many of them with Michelin stars. Just pack a longer belt for the trip!

Belgian train system is good, and up to 4 trains an hour connect the airport to Brussels North, Brussels Central and Brussels Midi stations. There are also direct train connections to the East, South and West of Belgium, as well is a choice of bus connections.

The taxi fare from the airport to the city centre of Brussels is normally around € 45.

Oh, and apparently the Brussels Airport is the biggest chocolate selling point in the world!
