Estonian Air breaks sales records during Travel Fair TOUREST 2008

Estonian Air sold more seats than expected during the international Travel Fair TOUREST 2008. On Friday, the first day of the Travel Fair, the online sales were more than three times higher than usual. This is the largest one day sales both by turnover and seats.
“Also on the next days of TOUREST Estonian Air sold more tickets than normally. We are convinced that our customers’ interest toward our services and the record ticket sales is the result of our direct flights to popular destinatios and attractive prices,” said Peter Arvidsson, Estonian Air Vice President Commecial.
During the TOUREST weekend (from Friday morning until Sunday evening) 65 percent of tickets were booked online and 35 percent in Estonian Air ticket offices, call centre and in travel agencies.
TOP 5 destinations during the Travel Fair were Barcelona, Rome, London, Copenhagen and Kiev.

The International Travel Fair TOUREST 2008 took place 15-17 February at Estonian Fairs exhibition centre in Tallinn.
